I am going to tackle the lack of resources and information that limit access to New York City's specialized high schools for Black and Brown students and address the hostile environments within these schools to foster inclusivity and support.

I am going to tackle the issue of adolescents learning about sex primarily through pornography rather than comprehensive sexual education, addressing the resulting harmful and distorted perceptions of sex and relationships.

I will be working towards addressing the lack of information regarding the parole process for inmates within the New York incarceration system.

As an Athena Fellow, I'm addressing post-COVID declining literacy rates in children in New York City and using public libraries as a medium for reigniting interest in reading.

I am planning to tackle political apathy in rural communities to increase civic engagement.

I want to understand why minority health outcomes consistently lag during pandemics and why groups like the Latinx population are especially vulnerable to health shocks.

The inhumane work environment app-based food delivery service workers face in New York City.

I will be exploring the discrepancy between rehabilitative action and punitive policy against displaced minors in conflict zones.
