Course Description

The first part of the workshop will focus on social media tools themselves – how to use them effectively, when to use them, and how to avoid common social media pitfalls.  The second part of the workshop will be hands on.  Participants will have the opportunity to explore the social media tools for themselves, as well as hear a case study from an entrepreneur who used social media tools to conceive of and launch her new business.

Alexandra Tyler is the Vice President, Branded and Social Media Marketing, Global Transaction Services at Citigroup.  She has extensive experience in evaluating, launching and managing new products, product strategy, multi-channel and integrated marketing, with a special focus on social media.
