The ability to sum up unique aspects of your service or product in a way that piques the interest in others is a basic and necessary skill for an entrepreneur. The short form “elevator pitch” is designed to capture your audience's attention in 30 seconds or less. You should take this workshop when you already have an initial business plan or a concept. Through a combination of lecture and hands-on exercises, you will focus your pitch and learn how to give it dimension while still covering the “who, what, why, where and when” and highlighting the superior value of your service or product. Modifying your pitch “on the fly” and creating a TweetPitch – the 140 character squeeze—will also be covered.
