Course Description
We all bring individual skills and unique communication styles to the negotiation table. In this workshop you’ll explore methods to make these traits work for you. Through group discussion and practice exercises, including a mock negotiation, the workshop will focus on three aspects of negotiation: advance planning, the actual negotiation, and follow-up. You will learn how to create a road map for a successful negotiation and ways to pinpoint the other side’s weaknesses, differing communication styles and tactics, so that you can dilute their power and increase your own effectiveness.
